WAUCHOPE FARMERS MARKET
EVENT DETAILS, MONTHLY MARKET
The Wauchope Farmers' Market provides an opportunity for local farmers and food producers to sell a large variety of produce and hand crafted gourmet food products direct to the public.
It is a well established community market built on a philosophy of providing the freshest, the best, and the healthiest alternatives to the community, with produce and product often hand-picked the day before the market.
GROWN AND GATHERED COMMUNITY MARKET
This local community market is fast becoming known as the region's friendliest market.
The premise of the market was originally based on the idea of "re-use, recycle, repurpose" with local valley residents bringing their farm produce excesses to the local hall to barter and share with other residents. Since then, this little market has grown to include fantastic food, great coffee, eclectic and interesting stalls including jewellery, artworks, metal work, recycled clothing, knitwear, jams, preserves and plenty more. It changes each month so there's always something new to see.
The drive is about 45 minutes from Port Macquarie or 25 minutes from Wauchope, through the gorgeous Pappinbarra Valley past Beechwood. If you enjoy a scenic drive with a fantastic destination at the end, come and see them on the first Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm in daylight savings, and til 12 through the colder months.
